Jul 2010. GPX joined OurCommonFuture.

Jun 2010. GPX to present a Case Study at SMI Conference (16-17 June 2010).
Peckham Power and GPX International Ltd present in London at the international SMI Conference "Realisation of the Future Grid (Smart Grid, Future Grids)" on the second day (17 June), the Case Study "1. Pilot in UK involving consumers in source, availability and pricing ; 2. Exchange of locally produced renewable energy with local consumption; 3. Do consumer attitudes change by giving them vision, energy literacy or even choice? ; 4. Integrated, attractive and secure solutions for purchasing and selling ; 5. localised energy." A simulation movie has been made for research for perception analysis.

Apr 2010. GPX gained new partners within a consortium called Building Brains - Smart Building and District: Energy Neutral.

Jan 2010. GPX involved in pilot project. The projectpartners state is as follows: "GPX Power Metering project - Peckham Power has started to roll out its pioneering energy meter technology. Our technology partner GPX’s approach to power metering is unique because it will measure production as well as consumption simultaneously. We will use sensors for individual appliances (e.g. kettles, washing machines) to show how much energy they use and money they cost. The first home to get the renewable energy meter is that of local eco-celebrity Donnachadh McCarthy."

Sep 2009. GPX Signed the declaration of Tilburg and the Antwerpen Appeal for a more sustainble economy.

Aug 2009. New logo for GPX Foundation to be established, preliminairy text in Dutch.

Jul 2009. New GPX website oriented on China.

Jan 2009. Stakeholder Group has been formed. More announcements in Februari after General Meeting of Shareholders.

Dec 8, 2008. GPX signed: The Poznan Communiqué on Climate Change, being presented to the current UN Climate Change Conference in Poland which calls for comprehensive action on climate change.

The year 2008. Sabbatical Year.

Dec 17, 2007. Patent granted for India.

July 14, 2007. GPX prototype demo set is active in energy friendly neighbourhood in the city of Utrecht. The balance amount is growing.

July 7, 2007. GPX demonstrated demo at Live Earth Festival Almere.

July 1, 2007. You Choose! European market open for all consumers. See a 10 minute Youtube EU movie promoting the event.

May 19, 2007. GPX presented a new idea for "duurzame dinsdag"

May 16, 2007. GPX presented it's concept at the Public hearing "Civil Society Responding to Climate Change" in Brussels.

April 2, 2007. GPX launched it's first prototype system at 09.23 hours. Production comes from solar panels on local primary school Jan-Ligthartschool in the St. Marten neighbourhood in the city of Arnhem (NL). AVIC provided support with telecommunications and software. The prototype is the first part of a larger project called "Green Wheather Station". A consortium of four companies and a private person is presently developing the GWS.

Feb 28, 2007. GPX involved as partner in a SenterNovem research project for automated market operations.

Jun 8-9, 2006. GPX presents at European Utilities Intelligent Metering, conference in Stockholm. Green energy and smart metering standardisation. Audience with 300 participants.
Case study: Green energy disclosure from point to point facilitated by smart metering by GPX (Green Power Exchanger), Netherlands.

Mar 2, 2006, GPX takes part in a traditional auction for "first right to negotiate" on the use of IP rights on 26 April 2006 in Eelde (NL).

Jan 17, 2006. GPX gives first presentation to the meter market at the Smart Metering Canada conference (Toronto).

Sep 27, 2005. Patent granted for the USA and on the same day named as "Patent of the Day".

May 18, 2005. Presentation at International Workshop: "Environmental Education - Renewable Energy for Children and Youth" (Berlin).

Feb 18, 2005. The Companies House has acknowledged the incorporation of GPX International LTD. The Ltd company is intending to subscribe to the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

Feb 15, 2005. GPX keeps on promoting it's mission, to bridge production and consumption in a setting of elements that measure, switch and communicate (Worldwide).

Nov 16, 2004. The European Commission – DG "Joint Research Centre" - Institute for Environment and Sustainability in Ispra Italy presents to ECEEE the "Design of a New Scheme for Tradable Certificates for Renewable Electricity and Energy Efficiency" a comprehensive research study report of the GPX system including a set up for a practical test.

Oct 13, 2004. Patent granted for Europe.

June 30, 2004. Patent granted for Singapore.

June 16, 2004. Patent granted for China.

June 14, 2004. Contract signed for new GPX Group consisting of 7 persons. The group will make joint effort to work out business concepts for the GPX concept (Netherlands).

May 26, 2004. Dutch marketregulator for the gas and electricity market DTe urges for improvement on effective liberalisation of national metermarket for innovative meterproducts. Minister of Economic Affairs, mr. L.J. Brinkhorst, plans to regulate this market until it functions properly. More...

Mar 18-19, 2004. GPX joins GREEN POWER MARKETING conference with innovative new concepts for marketing the green power (Lausanne).

Nov 10-12, 2003. GPX joins PATINNOVA '03 conference on intellectual property and innovation (Luxembourg).

Oct 24, 2003. GPX joins TRECKIN conference: Tradable Renewable Energy Certificates - Innovative Finance for Renewable Energy in Developing Countries (at BP in London).

Sep 19, 2003. GPX joins TRECKIN conference: Stimulating Demand for Renewable Energy Certificates (Salzburg).

May 8, 2003. GPX joins "Trends in Marketing" a conference from ESKAN (Arnhem).

GPX prizewinner at Sustainable Energy Contest 1999 (Noordwijkerhout).

GPX received good attention in the technology developement section of the NUON annual report 2000 on Sustainable Energy (for picture and information see page 18 of the annual report). The jury considered GPX amongst the three best ideas (out of 157) aiming to bring a "new green product for energy companies to bring forward to consumers". The jury comprised: Ms. M.J. Augusteijn-Esser (member of parliament), Professor dr. C.J.H. Midden (chairman of the Culture and Technique department at the Technical University of Eindhoven), Mr. A.J.M. van den Biggelaar (director Stichting Natuur en Milieu) and Ms. A.M.C. Goedmakers (director Nuon International/Sustainable Energy). GPX was awarded for originality, effectiveness and chance for success.

ICT Innovatieplatform Duurzame ICT
Het IIP Duurzame ICT is vanaf haar formele start op 24 oktober 2007 uitgegroeid tot een volwassen ICT Innovatie Platform (IIP). Op 18 januari 2010 werd het tevens officieel erkend door ICTRegie.
Een van de kenmerken van een ICT Innovatie Platform is het mission statement. Dit zal in overleg met de deelnemende organisaties worden vastgesteld.
