GPX director Egbert Bouwhuis
After graduation Mr. Bouwhuis started his career in the potato industry.  Attracted by the combined heat and power used in this industry he changed his career to the power industry. In the following 13 years he worked in a power company as shift operator for power production/transport and as grid manager of a major city. Mr. Bouwhuis was a member of the Utility Workers Council. The need for independence brought a new start as a consultant for a research institute, which he left in october 1999 with the initiative to raise GPX.
